ABOUT MAGICAL MEMORIES BY MICHELLE
I formed Magical Memories by Michelle, LLC in 2014 after a long career in the travel industry. I am Michelle Giampaglia and I will work creatively and tirelessly to make sure your vacation plans indeed make Magical Memories for you and your family and friends.
I began my travel career in 1990 after studying Hotel and Restaurant Management at Fairleigh Dickinson University. At that time, however, I realized my desire was to work specifically in the travel industry and I took a three month long extensive course at O’Brien’s Professional Travel School in Paramus, N.J.. Immediately after course completion, I was hired by American Express Travel Related Services and worked most of the next ten years in the business travel division where I achieved Team Works, Trendsetter and Pacesetter national awards. Within this ten-year period, I had experience planning vacation packages, as well, and realized that I was most intrigued and interested by this part of the travel business.
While working in business travel and to satisfy my deep-rooted love for Walt Disney World® Resort, I began taking the College of Disney Knowledge courses. This fascination with Walt Disney World® Resort began in 1977, when as a 7-year-old child, my family visited the Magic Kingdom® Park and stayed at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and that love has just grown over the years. In this regard, my greatest family experiences have been vacations with my own three daughters at OUR most favorite place in the world, Walt Disney World® Resort.
I went on maternity at the time due the birth of my first child in 2000, but discovered that I missed the travel industry very much. At that time, I decided then that I wanted to work in the vacation side of the industry where I achieved the most satisfaction.
I began work as an Independent Agent affiliated with Travel Network from the end of 2000 until May of 2014 when I decided to devote myself, almost exclusively, to planning vacations to Disney Destinations on a full time basis. The birth of my new business coincided with the impending start of full time Kindergarten for my youngest daughter, which would allow me more time to pursue this dream.
In this way, Magical Memories by Michelle, LLC was born in May 2014 and has grown far beyond my wildest imagination and obviously has become one of the best decisions of my life. I truly believe in the magic and fantasy that a Disney vacation affords every family and I wanted to work directly with a company in which I have the utmost respect and trust. The Walt Disney Company was created by a man with a dream to give his daughters happiness and fantasy and to create family destinations that everyone could enjoy. We all know that Walt Disney has made this dream a reality in a way that is beyond all imagination and expectation.

I will treat your vacation plans as if I were planning the ultimate experience for my own family. The major focus of our business is Disney Destinations, but we do also offer the same professional and caring service when planning land packages to the Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii and other world renowned beach locations as well as cruise vacations throughout the world on all major cruise lines. You can rest assured that all of the stresses and concerns of planning vacations will be alleviated since all of the research and all of the planning will be done by an experienced professional. I am very accessible to my clients before, during and after travel takes place and have THE BEST administrative help behind the scenes for ease of operations. I treat clients as I would treat friends and family and you are assured that someone who cares about the process and personally researches all possibilities is personally handling your vacation plans. As the owner, I am 100% vested in my client’s satisfaction.
As a travel professional, I constantly update my knowledge by completing various travel training programs offered by vendors throughout the industry. Most importantly, however, I have continued to take updated College of Disney Knowledge courses since the 1990’s as offered to members of the travel industry since. This has afforded me the opportunity to be at the cutting edge of the myriad of enhancements and upgrades which are constantly happening with all Disney Destinations. All Disney bookings are always booked directly with The Walt Disney Travel Company and nowhere else and I hope to plan the vacation of your dreams so you can be on your way to VISTING MICKEY!!
